Build Your Own Boat Competition

On the beach or in the pool "BYOB"! Your mission... to "Build Your Own Boat".Team equipment will be provided to build each racing raft. All equipment will be provided in equal amounts & equal items.

Each team will meet the following criteria:
- Expert Design
- Creativity
- Sturdy Construction
- Teamwork Effort
- Seaworthiness
Points will be awarded for each area of concentration. This competition requires design thought processing, engineer thought processing, assembly skills, and operation skills. The key to winning is true "team" cooperation. Additional points will be rewarded to the team that successfully wins the final regatta. Allow 2 hours for competition.
Remote Control Sailboat Regatta

Everyone don your sailor hats as our master of ceremony begins the America's Cup Sailboat Regatta. Mini remote control sailboats run the triangular course in the pool! "Perfect for the poolside reception or dinner!"
Beach or Pool Volleyball

Guests can enjoy beach volleyball on their own or we can provide tournaments. During the day or night! Glow in the dark available too!
Beach Olympics

To promote "esprit-de-corps" among your group, our on-property Beach Olympics provides an afternoon of colossal excitement and teamwork. Adventures in Paradise will organize, set up, supervise, and provide all equipment in grand style of balloons, banners, and flags, as well as CPR trained personnel. We recommend choosing five to six events dependent of time allotted. All Beach Olympics begin with a stretch warm-up (10 minutes) and Team Cheers prepared by each individual team (15 minutes).Scoring:
Teams are given points for each event. Teams accumulating most points is overall winner. Please allot 2 1/2 hours for program. Includes T-Shirt for teams & gold medallion for winning team.
Events:
1. Obstacle Course: A race of varied skills and action where ach team runs against the clock through a course of tires, under hoops, jumping hurdles, limbo, and broad jump, with a sprint to the finish.
2. Canoe/Kayak Race: Teams race out into the Gulf in canoes or kayaks, around buoys, back to shore, and relay off to a teammate. Lots of splashng and capsizing fun!
3. Dizzy Lizzy: Relay of equilibrum and loads of laughs! Teams run down to end of course, pick up bat, place bat to the forehead leaving other end on the ground, run around bat 6 to 8 times, (depending on group), and race back to the teammate...if he can make it!
4. Splashin' Sunfloat Race: Hit the water with a splash! Teams line up and race into the Gulf carrying sunfloats, jump on the sunfloat and paddle out and aruond buoy, paddle back to shore, and tag off to teammate.
5. Champagne Shuffle: Teams are given a bottle of champagne, a tray and a glass. Each teammate runs down to his bottle, fills his glass and places on tray, runs back (with no spills) drinks his glass of champagne and passes the tray and glass off to a teammate who follows suit. Bubbly action! Champagne may be substituted with beer, wine, soda, juice, or water.
6. Beach Ski: Ski the beautiful white....sand? Hot skiing when teams race against each other on beach skis built for six. A true team effort!
7. Animal Relay: Jump on Shamu, Ali Gator or Flipper! Relay with 3 of your mates and pass of the catch? NO HANDS!
8. Spoonin' the Gulf: Teams race from the beach to the water, fill spoon with water, race back to bucket and deposit water. First team completing all participants is winner.
9. Sand Sculptures: Teams are given one bucket and one shovel, Teams must create and build sand sculpture on theme, 'creatures of the ocean,' company theme, or castle theme, etc.
10. Fast Fashions: Teams must race to suitcase containing assortment of clothing, put clothes on and race back to teammate with suitcase, take clothes off, put back into suitcase and relay off!
11. Balloon Buster: Teams line up in two lines and are given water balloons which they must toss to opposite teammate without breaking. After each toss, teams step back one step until only one team stands.
12. Team Jogging: Teams are given jogging pole which is placed between the legs of six team members. Teams jog to awaiting teammates who mount jogging pole and race back to finish. Teams cannot touch jogging pole with hands, a real laughing matte!
13. Cream Pie High: Teams race to awaiting cream pies, eat quickly and return to beginning. What a messy situation!
14. Chug-a-lug: Traditional "Chug Off". Team finishing most beer, (or substitute) in allotted time drinking from straw is winning team.
15. Tug of War: A show of brute strength!
16. Horseshoes: How about a game of horseshoes! Old fashion great fun!
